Agriculture changed mans way of life. He stopped roaming after herds and instead domesticated the wild animals. New plants were grown as food crops. For the first time there was a dependable food supply. This allowed man to establish permanent settlements. Life expectancy increased. Even though he could not control the physical environment, man realized he was dominant over the biological one at least.
